Sales Executive – SMB Security

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team and play a key role in promoting and selling our comprehensive security consulting services and products to small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with decision-makers, and strategically positioning our security solutions to safeguard the digital assets of our clients.

Responsibilities


Prospecting and Lead Generation:

  • Identify and research potential clients within the small and medium business sector.

  • Generate new leads through proactive outreach, networking, and industry events.


Consultative Selling:

  • Understand the unique security challenges and requirements of SMBs.

  • Conduct thorough needs assessments to determine client needs and propose tailored security solutions.


Product and Service Presentation:

  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of our security consulting services and products.

  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the benefits of our solutions.

  • Coordinate, promote and lead webinars in your assigned region


Relationship Building:

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including IT managers, business owners, and C-level executives.

  • Develop a deep understanding of clients' businesses to provide personalized security recommendations.


Sales Cycle Management:

  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, including technical experts, to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.


Proposal Development:

  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts based on client requirements.

  • Address client concerns and objections to secure commitment.


Market Intelligence:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging threats, and competitor offerings.

  • Provide feedback to the team on market needs and product enhancements.


Achievement of Targets:

  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.

  • Track and report on sales performance using CRM tools.

Qualifications & Skills


Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field is preferred.



Technical Acumen:

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and solutions.

  • Ability to articulate technical information in a clear and understandable manner.


Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.


Customer Focus:

  • A customer-centric approach with a focus on understanding and addressing client needs.

  • Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.


Self-Motivated:

  • Proactive and self-driven with the ability to work independently.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.


Adaptability:

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving industry.

  • Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends.


Proven Sales Experience:

  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales, preferably in the IT security or technology sector.

  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
