Cybersecurity Consultant
We are seeking two Cybersecurity Consultants to join our dynamic team. These roles offer a blend of remote work and on-site client engagements. We are in search of experienced professionals with a minimum of 3 years' diverse experience in cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance. Ideal candidates will have a background in infrastructure or SecOps, complementing their technical knowledge.
Responsibilities
1. Collaborating with in-house security teams and client stakeholders on-site to develop, implement, review, and maintain information security policies, procedures, governance, and best practices.
2. Assisting the team in conducting regular compliance assessments to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
3. Designing and implementing cybersecurity training and awareness programs to foster a culture of security among employees.
4. Working closely with technology teams to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of cybersecurity programs.
5. Offering guidance and support to internal stakeholders and other departments on cybersecurity governance, risk, policy, and compliance matters.
Qualifications & Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- A Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related work experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of industry experience in Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance consulting, with knowledge of infrastructure and/or SecOps.
- Proficiency in cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including policy review, compliance, governance, cybersecurity tools, software license management, and version control.
- Strong project management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Solid infrastructure knowledge across various environments such as networking, cloud, application security, firewalls, SIEM, anti-virus, EDR, anti-spam/email filtering, and data loss prevention.
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CRISC, and/or CIS.
